BS 1.2316: Tempered, corrosion resistant, polishable chromium steel. Heat resistant and resistant to wear. Often used for tools for processing chemically aggressive plastic materials (e.g. PVC). Working hardness: approx. 30 HRC (delivery condition) up to 48 HRC.
