BS 1.2312: Pre-hardened cold work steel and plastic mould steel. Good machinability, although less polishable and more difficult to etch, due to added sulphur. High through-hardenability and uniform component strength. Working hardness: approx. 32 HRC (delivery condition) up to 50 HRC.
