BS BA 2: Air hardening cold work steel, good machinability, high wear resistance and improved toughness (reduced occurence of hard carbides with about 5 % chromium compared to 12 % chromium in ledeburites BS BD 2, BS BD 6, BS BD 3 mod). Good dimensional stability during heat treatment and easily repairable through welding. Working hardness: 58-62 HRC.
