BS 320 S 31: Stainless austenitic chrome-nickel-molybdenum steel. Resistant to seawater, diluted sulphuric and hydrochloric acids, and to intergranular corrosion following welding processes. Has excellent cold working properties, very good weldability and temperature resistance up to 600 degrees Celsius, non-magnetisable. Working hardness: approx. 215 HB (delivery condition).
